Sicyon Units Converter Pro

Sicyon Units Converter Pro is an incorporated utility in Sicyon Pro for units of measurement conversion, but you can run it as separate application. The stand-alone application you can buy separately and it is included in Sicyon Pro calculator.

Principal features:

• Totally customizable units data file with the help of special editor, that allows you to add, modify or hide any unit or category.

There are a few differences between incorporated and stand-alone versions which concerns the way to enter and exit the units converter, but not the way it works or you operate with units.

• Incorporated in Sicyon Pro version: The buttons are OK / Cancel, to accept or reject the conversion. By selecting Units Converter menu item, you enter a dialog box. The Sicyon Units Converter Pro will convert the dimension you've chosen into new one, but you can use it to choose a dimension for a variable as well. For your convenience, when you type ‘[‘ in a variable value field, a pair of brackets ‘[]’ will appear.
  NB Only variables of double or integer type in the variable fields can be converted.

  If there are units raised to an exponent or a division, the converter takes them into account. In dimension syntax you have to use the abbreviation of units from the File page. Simple units have to be separated by '.' (point) or '*' (multiply) - for multiplication and '/' - slash for division. You can use only one division. You can use exponents - '^', but only positive ones. Superscript ² (Ctrl 2) is treated as ^2 and ³ (Ctrl 3) - as ^3.

  For temperature degrees, you can use degC and degF or their equivalents °C and °F (° is Ctrl 0).

• Standalone application: The buttons are Copy / Hide, to copy the conversion into the clipboard or minimize the application. The standalone application is distributed as shareware with 30 days trial period. The only restriction during that time is that save function of the units file editor is disabled.
